The Meadowlark Chamber Music Society is pleased to host a Chamber Music Play-In on May 30, made possible through the generous support of an Associated Chamber Music Players grant.*
This informal afternoon gathering is designed as a chamber music “party” — an opportunity to read great music, meet fellow musicians, and enjoy making music together in a welcoming setting.
Time: 1:00–3:00 p.m.
The afternoon will include:
- A brief opening period for organization and ensemble assignments
- Two chamber music reading sessions of approximately 40 minutes each, with groups changing between sessions
- A final half-hour large ensemble reading for all participants
- Time afterward for refreshments and socializing
Music is available in advance upon request.
Participants are also invited to attend an evening performance of Mozart’s Gran Partita at Brigham Young University at 7:30 p.m. Those interested are welcome to meet up and attend together.
