Rachel Christensen is a flutist based in Utah County. She performs regularly with the Salt Lake Symphony and Utah Metropolitan Ballet, and has appeared with ensembles throughout the state in orchestral, chamber, and contemporary settings. Rachel also serves on the faculty at Brigham Young University and Utah Valley University, where she teaches applied flute and piccolo and mentors small chamber groups.
Active in Utah’s musical community, Rachel serves on the boards of the Utah Flute Association and the Utah Valley Symphony, contributing to educational outreach and performance initiatives that connect audiences with live music. She earned her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from Brigham Young University, studying with Dr. April Clayton.
