Bassoonist Jessi Vandagriff is known for her expressive artistry and versatility across orchestral and chamber settings. She performs regularly with the Orchestra at Temple Square and the Utah Metropolitan Ballet and has also appeared with the Utah Symphony and Ballet West. Her musical career has taken her to stages around the world, performing in numerous countries across four continents. She earned her Master of Music in Bassoon Performance from Brigham Young University, where she developed her deep commitment to both technical excellence and musical communication. She also has degrees in molecular biology and instructional psychology & technology from BYU.
In addition to her performing career, Jessi works for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on the team developing the new hymnbook. She lives in Orem, Utah with her husband and two children.
